Learning to effectively leverage multiple disciplines took years of formal education, personal curiosity, and professional experience. Buoyed by interdisciplinary expertise, I guide projects, practicing whole-system thinking and an Integrative Design Process.
Design is human-centered. Design is not decorating; nor is it tied to the latest trend. Design is not merely an aesthetic experience. Design concerns balance, depth in meaning, judgment, and simplicity. Design embraces uncertainty and abandons ego, thereby both revealing and solving problems. Design supports whole-systems, and always respects context.
I enjoy working across the full stack, while specializing in front-end, in-browser, design & development. Currently, I am focused on supplementing my modern development skills by learning: Babel, ES6, Node, React, Redux, and Webpack. I’m excited to contribute towards a future powered by universal, progressive web applications.
